WEFONE LED is a Dubai-based supplier of LED displays and interactive smart boards, serving B2B project buyers across the Middle East, Africa, and the Gulf region. This guide covers our Indoor LED Display line — fine-pitch panels built for meeting rooms, retail spaces, control rooms, and showrooms.
Why choose indoor LED over an LCD video wall?
Indoor LED delivers a seamless, bezel-free image at any size, with better brightness uniformity and a longer service life than tiled LCD walls. For control rooms, retail flagships, and lobbies where image continuity matters, fine-pitch LED is the practical choice.

WEFONE LED indoor models (representative)
| Model | Pixel Pitch | Module | Cabinet | Refresh | Brightness | Reference Market Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| IS-WF-P1.5-GOB | P1.53 | 320×160 mm | 640×480 aluminium / 8010 frame | 3840Hz | 700 nits | 4,901 |
| IS-WF-P1.8-GOB | P1.86 | 320×160 mm | 640×480 aluminium / 8010 frame | 3840Hz | 700 nits | 3,972 |
| IS-WF-P2.5-SMD | P2.5 | 320×160 mm | 640×480 aluminium / 8010 frame | 3840Hz | 700 nits | 2,620 |
GOB (glue-on-board) provides a protected surface for close viewing and higher durability on the P1.5 and P1.8 models.
How to choose pixel pitch
As a rule of thumb, match pitch to viewing distance: P1.5–P1.8 fine-pitch gives sharp text for viewers 1.5–3 m away (meeting rooms, control rooms); P2.5 is cost-effective for 3–6 m viewing (larger retail and lobby walls). Exact pitch is selected against viewing distance, ambient light, and installation structure before quotation.
Where indoor LED fits
Meeting rooms, retail showcases, control rooms, and showrooms — anywhere a seamless, high-brightness wall improves communication or brand presence.
Where Fine Pitch Wins, and Where LCD Still Does
Fine-pitch LED is the right answer when the wall has to be one continuous image. Tiled LCD walls always carry bezels, and they drift in brightness and colour as the panels age at different rates — which is very visible on a wall that has been running for three years.
LCD still wins in two cases: a single screen below roughly 110 inches viewed from a few metres, where it costs less and has no visible pixel structure; and any situation where the display has to be moved or replaced without touching the wall structure.
Specifying an Indoor Wall: What to Decide Before Quotation
- Service access. Decide front-service or rear-service cabinets before ordering. Front service allows a wall built flush to a wall; rear service needs a maintenance corridor behind it. This decision is very expensive to change later.
- Structure and flatness. Fine-pitch cabinets need a flat, true mounting plane; seams show immediately if the structure is out of tolerance.
- Ambient light. At 700 nits these panels are comfortable in normal interior lighting, but a wall facing full-height glazing in afternoon sun needs a brightness and contrast conversation, not a default specification.
- Control system. Confirm the sending and receiving card count, spare capacity, and whether redundant signal path is required — a control room usually needs it, a retail wall usually does not.
- Power and data. Both must be at the wall position, with the circuit protection the load requires.
Matching the Model to the Room
- Control rooms and broadcast studios (1.5–3 m viewing): P1.5, where text and data density is highest and operators sit close for long shifts.
- Boardrooms and meeting rooms (1.5–3 m): P1.5 or P1.8 depending on the nearest seat; GOB surface protection helps where people can reach the wall.
- Retail flagships and showrooms (3–6 m): P2.5 — the most cost-effective point for large walls viewed from several metres.
- Lobbies and atria (3–6 m and above): P2.5 unless there is a close-viewing area, in which case specify P1.8 for the lower section.
What the Per-Square-Metre Price Covers
The reference prices above are for the panels. A complete indoor wall also includes the mounting structure, the control system and processors, cabling, installation and calibration, and — for larger projects — a small holding of spare modules and power supplies so a single fault does not darken the wall. We quote these as separate line items rather than folding them into a single number, so you can see what you are paying for.
Common Questions
How long does an indoor LED wall last?
Fine-pitch panels are typically rated for 100,000 hours before output falls to half brightness. In a room running ten hours a day, that is well over twenty years — the practical limit is usually the control electronics and power supplies rather than the LEDs, which is why spares matter.
Can an indoor wall be built curved?
Yes, within limits. Cabinets can be angled to form a concave curve; tight radii need purpose-built curved cabinets. Tell us the radius at design stage, because it changes the cabinet specification.
Do you install outside the UAE?
Yes. We support projects across the GCC — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait — and African markets, with trade-ready documentation, logistics support and after-sales communication for distributors and contractors.
Frequently asked questions
What pixel pitch is best for a meeting room?
For close-viewing meeting rooms (viewer 1.5–3 m), P1.5–P1.8 fine-pitch gives sharp text and graphics. For larger spaces (3–6 m), P2.5 is the more cost-effective option.
Are WEFONE LED indoor panels GOB or SMD?
The P1.5 and P1.8 models use GOB (glue-on-board) surface protection for closer viewing and durability; the P2.5 model uses SMD.
Does WEFONE LED support GCC installation?
Yes. WEFONE LED supports the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and African markets with trade-ready documentation, logistics support, and after-sales communication for distributors and contractors.
